Ringo was our first Poodle. We got him for Caitlin to use in 4-H. He was very much HER dog; he wanted to be wherever she was, and missed her terribly when she was gone. He loved to retrieve, and would bring a toy back to you hundreds of times in a row. He was very good at catching toys in mid-air.
Ringo started his AKC Rally Novice A competition on Memorial Day weekend, 2005. He completed his RN title in just 3 trials, earning the final leg at PCA on June 14, 2005. Caitlin also showed him in UKC Junior Showmanship.
He was shown in 4-H obedience, showmanship, and agility. Caitlin and Ringo were County Champions in agility, showmanship and obedience multiple times. They were also State Champions in Obedience.
He also won Best of Breed – Altered in 2 UKC All Breed Shows.
Ringo passed away on October 24, 2016. We miss you, original Poodle buddy!
